The hunts in general are quite similar to the legendary lord quests for the other factions. For now, I'm not going to bother listing and analysing the rewards for each hunt but it's not something I'll rule out forever. This guide isn't supposed to be comprehensive but it'll take a lot of the guesswork out of the hunts and help you plan the trajectory of your campaign more effectively. They are doing this to be more "fair" for the consumers even though they've pretty much always been.Hey guys, I've had a quick search and haven't been able to find a good guide for the new monster hunts in the Norsca DLC so having finished all the hunts, I thought I'd jot down some of my experiences into a guide to help you all breeze through them quickly. It's not a pre order bonus, it's just an early adopter bonus since they are changing the way they are doing these to prevent people like you from calling them out. How you see this as a bad thing I don't understand. That's not cut content.Įven if you don't pre order and you buy Warhammer 2 within the first week, you get this free as well. They then take a small team to work on DLC. All there DLC is created after the main game. People are just so overwhelmingly naive and expect the world. It's also free if you pre order Warhammer 2. They also released the Bretonia DLC for free, which is a fantastic add on. I do agree that the Chaos Warriors day-1 DLC for TW Warhammer was crap, at least they offered it for free for the first week (perhaps longer) after launch so that people could see reviews etc.īeyond that Total War Warhammer also had free DLC content with every DLC release, be it new lords for existing factions, new units and other content. While Total War: Warhammer does have a lot of DLC, pretty much all of it was created post launch and each change to factions have completely transformed how the game plays, like any good expansion should. At least those that do not want to pre-order can just buy the DLC if they want it. IE, it is a new DLC for the previous game that was recently developed and will effectively tide players over until the next release. Not sure if you have gotten this right, this is DLC for Total War: Warhammer 1, not 2. Yes I'm old, but I remember when you brought a game and you got, a game. "this thing is finished, so we'll remove it from the game, include it in the download and charge you money for a 100k unlock file". Not content with gouging their customer base with the DLC practise of T:W1, they then announce TW2 to replace it within 12 months and before even that's released we're back to DLC gouging. You can join the discussion on Total War: Warhammer's Norsca Expansion on the OC3D Forums. Creative Assembly is also releasing Free-LC for Total War: Warhammer alongside this new expansion. This DLC will only be available for Total War: Warhammer, though Norsca will eventually come to Total War: Warhammer II in its combined campaign map. Fanatical servants of the dark gods, they will stop at nothing to prove their primal might, in a relentless hunt for worthy foes and fresh raiding grounds. In the far north, between the Chaos Wastes and the Sea of Claws, lies Norsca. Like every new faction for Total War: Warhammer, the Norscan tribes will come with their own unique mechanics and victory conditions, with their faction relying on their allegiance to the Dark Gods and their ability to hunt and potentially recruit some of the Old World's most terrifying creatures to your cause. Norsca will allow players to play as the Norsca and Wintertooth tribes, with two new legendary lords, three new hero types and a large selection of unique units and abilities. This new expansion will be available for £7.99 (£7.19 when pre-ordered) or for free with pre-orders of Total War: Warhammer 2. Now has come the time for Norsca to be brought into the game, with a new expansion that will release on August 10th. Since launch Total War Warhammer has been completely transformed, with both free and paid for DLC releasing for the title to bring new factions, mechanics and even races to the game.
